The Exile,
Lao-Canadian heavy metal band bases in Ontario, Canada, is heading back to studio to
record new album. The band has one of the best song writer, singer and not least first
album called "Barn Gert Hao" released
successfully. The band screamed into the international scene. Some of their famous songs
are sophie, Sao Lao Ti Canada, Ya Seang Luck.
They are the first Laotian band to be signed by giant Thai entertainment company,
Grammy. The album released by Grammy is self titled "The Exile" which was distributed by MGA.
The year was busy time for them. They travelled to Thailand to promote their first
released album by Grammy. They appeared in Thai television, print media.
Hit comes after hit, they have many fans around the World scream, jump up and down ,
shake and bang their heads. They are currently working on the third album. As stated by
The Exile Management Group (EMG), "The Exile are currently working very hard in
preparing for our next upcoming album. The album will be titled "Homecoming", and will be available in Sept. We will
be going into the studio to record in July, so hopefully everything will be ready by

The band has changed slightly in terms of the members that make up the band. Pete (lead
singer), Vieng (drummer), Lei (bass), are still intact. However they have replaced 2 lead
guitarists with Tho. According to Vantho, their manager, "Tho brings great enthusiasm
and energy to the band. He has great abilities and we are very confident in his ability to
add to the sound of the Exile".
Not only the band members have changed, the music of the Exile will also change in the
coming album to reflect the rapid changes in the music industry. The Exile members will
adopt a style of music that will really be enjoyed by all groups and ages of all Laotian
around the globe. They have given their hearts and soul into producing this album that
they and all Laotians will be proud of.
