“Cry” is a deeply emotional heavy rock ballad about a father’s love for his young son. There is nothing more painful than watching your child suffer and feeling powerless to take away his pain. Every tear in the boy’s eyes breaks his father’s heart. He wants to protect his son, take his place, and carry every hurt himself, but all he can do is hold him close and cry alongside him.

Through powerful vocals, heartfelt lyrics, beautiful melodies, and soaring electric guitars, Cry captures the anger, frustration, and helplessness of a father who would do anything to make his child feel better. It is a song about the deepest kind of love — the love that hurts when someone you cherish is hurting. Because sometimes, the person who cries the hardest is not the one who feels the pain, but the one who would give anything to take it away.
