Sam Intharaphithak is a singer\/musician\/composer\/music producer\/sound engineer known for his hit single \u201cI\u2019m Sorry\u201dand his song writing and production work on the song \u201cWe Are Unity\u201d, performed by many throughout South East Asia and other parts of the world.<\/p>\n
Volachith Intharaphithak, better known as Sam, was born in 1984 in Vientiane, LAOS. Early in his career he worked on Alexandra Bounxouei\u2019s second album \u201cLeum Sa\u201d, Aluna\u2019s hit single \u201cKhuam Hu Seuk Bork\u201d among other song writing and production work.<\/p>\n
In 2009 he released his self-titled debut album and was considered something that was ahead of its time and was well received. With songs like \u201cBork Hai Khoi Hu (Let Me Know)\u201d and Pen Nyang Tor Kun (What\u2019s Our Status)\u201d. The album brought the sound of modern R&B vocals to the Lao audience. In the same year Sam also wrote \u201cThe Spirit of the Flame\u201d for the SEA Games hosted in Laos and received multiple awards for Best R&B singer of the year, Best R&B song of the year (Pen Nyang Tor Kun) and Best producer of the year.<\/p>\n
Sam went on to release more songs during 2010 – 2016 and achieved great success with songs like \u201cI\u2019m sorry\u201d, \u201cBor Mi Van Ja Dai Huk Kun\u201d, \u201cKep Jai Vai Hai Jao\u201d, \u201cHot Hot\u201d and his latest single\u201c Bor Tong Huk Kun Eek Tor Pai\u201d.<\/p>\n
Sam has also worked on many ground breaking projects for the Lao entertainment industry, ranging from the first Claymation TV series in Laos \u201cMy Village\u201d, to feature films like \u201cAt The Horizon\u201d, \u201cHuk Elee\u201d, \u201cHuk Elee 2\u201d, \u201cHong Harm Tao\u201d, and \u201cThe Anniversary\u201d.<\/p>\n
Sam is now a full-time director\/music producer\/sound engineer at his own studio INTHARA Information Art & Media Co., ltd (INTHARA STUDIO)<\/p>\n
