His real name is Thavixay Saythilath or simply known in music community as Tar Apacts. His music bug started when he was eight years old.\u00a0 While he studied in primary or secondary school, he would get himself involved in various school musical activities such as singing, playing music instruments or performing Lao traditional dancing.\u00a0 After high school graduation he and a group of friends started a band called A\u2019pacts. It\u2019d been only a year since unsuccessful attempt in song competition.\u00a0 On the following year, A\u2019pacts signed with Valentine Music, a Vientiane record company.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A\u2019pacts moved on to be with Indee Record, a reputable music company after their contract finished with Valentine Music in 2006. It was 2007 where Tar started gaining significant self confidence after the releasing of his premi\u00e8re solo single called \u201cThao Dai Kor Bor Ao\u201d (meaning “it\u2019s enough”).\u00a0 He would occasionally get invite to sing in big national televised and premi\u00e8re events such as one being a male singer to sing a theme song called \u201cMiss Lao\u201d for Miss Lao Beauty pageant, a first time ever beauty pageant in Laos.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After several years in public eyes and he has been well received by music fans nationally, Tar officially decided to go solo in 2008.\u00a0 He\u2019s released many great pop and RNB songs.\u00a0 Refer to below for some of his songs.\u00a0 Some were written by him.\u00a0 At the time when there were so many great artists releasing excellent songs and it was an absolute perfect time for Tar to shine. And he did.\u00a0 Tar stood out amongst his peers by winning the best male pop artist of the year in 2011 and the best music video producer of the year in 2012 Lao Music Awards.\u00a0 He then started touring internationally in Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, South Korea and Japan.\u00a0 He has featured many times in print media and has appeared countless number of times on television.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Tar obtained Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, major in business administration and marketing.\u00a0 It’s only natural that he is now managing his own enterprises in this emerging music business where his experience would empower younger generation of singers and music industry as a whole.\u00a0 Tar is now actively producing numbers of productions in Lao entertainment. His main focus is to create and support new, young and talented singers.\u00a0 Occasionally he will release or collaborate with other singers so to stay in touch with fans. For example his latest is \u201cJapenpai Daibau – <\/span>\u0e88\u0eb0\u0ec0\u0e9b\u0eb1\u0e99\u0ec4\u0e9b\u0ec4\u0e94\u0ec9\u0e9a\u0ecd\u0ec8<\/span>?\u201d is injected with pop favour combining with beautiful melody.\u00a0 This superbly showcases Tar\u2019s repertoire.\u00a0 He\u2019s definitely developed and matured as a musician and in peccable tastes since his last outing.<\/span><\/p>\n
